After the 9–11 attacks, convicted, failed and caught redhanded Los Angeles Airport (LAX) Millenium Bomber, Ahmed Ressam had picked Zacarias Moussaoui — the ONLY man ever convicted for the 9/11 Suicide Terrorism Attacks in the USA courts — out of a group of photos and said he remembered him from the Afghanistan training camp where Ressam had trained from the end of April 1998 for 5 to 6 months. Ahmed Ressam had admitted that he planned to bomb Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on the eve of the Millennium celebrations. Investigation had also revealed that Ressam had attended al Qaeda training camps in Afghanistan and was part of a terrorist cell in Canada.

Convicted shoe bomber Richard Reid who had pleaded guilty to attempting to light a pair of explosive-laden shoes in December 2001 aboard a flight from Paris, France, to Miami, Florida, with nearly 200 people aboard, wrote a letter to Zacarias Moussaoui, a French national of Moroccan descent, the only man ever convicted in a US court for a role in the 9/11 attacks. Both men allegedly trained at an al Qaeda camp in Afghanistan in the late 1990s. Reid is a British citizen of Jamaican heritage who is serving a life sentence at a high-security “Supermax” prison near Florence, Colorado.

In January 2000, a meeting of senior Al-Qaeda leaders (known as the “2000 Al-Qaeda Summit”) took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to discuss future terrorist plots. Two of the 11 September 2001 hijackers — Nawaf al Hazmi & Khalid al Mihdhar, as well as Khalid Sheikh Mohammed — the chief of operations for 9/11 and Ramzi Binalshibh, participated. At Hambali’s request, former Malaysian army captain originally from Johore state Yazid Sufaat had provided lodging in his apartment for the Al-Qaeda operatives.

In October 2000, Yazid Sufaat met Zacarias Moussaoui, who was sentenced in the United States of America on 4 May 2006 to life in prison without the possibility of release for his involvement in the preparation of the 11 September 2001 attacks in the United States. Yazid Sufaat gave him $35,000 in addition to a $2,500 monthly stipend to be used in the final preparations for these attacks. Yazid Sufaat also provided the necessary employment documents for Moussaoui to obtain a United States visa by hiring him as a marketing consultant for Sufaat’s wife’s legitimate business.

In 2001, Yazid Sufaat spent several months attempting to cultivate anthrax for Al-Qaeda in a laboratory he helped set up near Kandahar airport in Afghanistan which was directly under Taliban de facto control.

In April 2002, a Tunisian operative named Nizar Nawar detonated a truck bomb outside the el-Ghriba Jewish synagogue in Djerba, Tunisia, killing 19, including 16 German and French tourists which was orchestrated by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) — the MAIN participant-attendee of the 2000 Al-Qaeda Malaysian Summit & 9/11 operations chief who was hosted by former Malaysian army captain Yazid Sufaat who is originally from Johore during the Summit. It was al-Qaeda’s first successful international attack after 9/11. Court documents, case files, and primary sources shed significant new light on the attack and al-Qaeda’s then modus operandi for international attack planning, which has both similarities with recent international terrorist plots carried out by the Islamic State. In retrospect, the Djerba suicide attack should have been a warning sign of the international threat posed by Tunisian terror militants, who are now one of the most dangerous cohorts within the Islamic State. Just before the attack, he mailed a letter to Al-Quds Al-Arabi in which he took responsibility for the attack in the name of al-Qaeda. The Saudi al-Qaeda member Hasan Muhammad ‘Ali Bin Atash, noted that he saw Nawar at the al-Matar Airport Complex in Kandahar in October 2000 then under the de facto control of Taliban. Sulaiman Abu Ghaith, al-Qaeda’s spokesman, eventually claimed the Djerba el-Ghriba Jewish Synagogue suicide bombing attack.

In the fall of 2000, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) had sent Zacarias Moussaoui to Malaysia for flight training, but Moussaoui did not find a school he liked. He worked instead on other terrorist schemes, such as buying four tons of ammonium nitrate for bombs to be planted on cargo planes flying to the United States. When KSM found out, he recalled Moussaoui back to Pakistan and directed him to go to the United States for flight training. In early October, Moussaoui went to London. When Binalshibh visited London in December, he stayed at the same 16-room dormitory where Moussaoui was still residing. From London, Moussaoui sent inquiries to the Airman Flight School in Norman, Oklahoma.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed personally knew Zacarias Moussaoui and as operations chief of the 9/11 Suicide Terrorism Attacks had personally instructed Moussaoui to Malaysia to undergo flight training. Both KSM and Moussaoui know Hambali and Yazid Sufaat, the former Malaysian army captain originally from Johore who had hosted Two (2) 9/11 Suicide Terrorists — Nawaf Hazmi and Khalid Mihdhar during the 2000 Al-Qaeda Malaysian Summit.

Osama Laden for and on behalf of Al-Qaeda, had claimed and accepted responsibility for the 9/11 Suicide Terrorism Attacks via a publicized video in October 2004. In August 2021, the Taliban-Al-Qaeda de facto administrator rejected proof of Osama’s and Al-Qaeda’s 9/11 culpability despite the much publicized video. Despite that, in September 2001, the leader of Al-Qaeda, Ayman Zawahiri had publicly claimed responsibility for the 9/11 Suicide Terrorism Attacks for and on behalf of Al-Qaeda which refuted the Taliban’s cover-up complicity.
